Graffiti Art & Artists:










Part 1:
1. Define stencil graffiti.
2. Describe your own stencil graffiti artwork.


Part 2:

Look up the following art sites:

Choose two stencil graffiti examples that appeal to you. Copy and past each artwork into a word document. Answer each of the following:
1. Describe the artwork (subject, colour, design & complexity).
2. Where is the stencil located? What can you tell from the photo?
3. Why did this stencil stand out to you/ catch your eye?

Each of the above sites seem to make a distinction between traditional street graffiti and stencil graffiti. Summarize the distinction in your own words (100 words) and copy & paste an example of each.

Do you think stencil graffiti is as important or as meaningful as traditional kinds of fine art (painting or sculpture for example)? Why or why not?
